Name: Numai Akemi
Age: 22
Sex: Female
Appearance: Somewhat taller than your average woman, with delicate facial features, wears her hair long, and built slenderly. Akemi usually wears courtly garb, as she dislikes the battlefield. However, during a battle, she will don armour for protection.
Weapon 1: Naginata
Weapon 2: Yumi Bow
Personality: Cool-headed and decisive, Akemi is a woman to be depended upon in a crisis and an excellent advisor in those fields in which she has knowledge. Practical as well as visionary, Akemi is a person who can look at the bigger picture and plan for the grand scheme of things, rarely becoming distracted or unsettled by the 'small stuff' and capable of adapting should something go wrong.

Hojo Ujinao is supposed to be my son...
It wouldn't make much sense if a member of the Hojo served another clan either. I'll post an NPC as soon as I can.

Scholar I'm sorry but I'll have to ask you to change your NPC of Hojo Ujinao. I'm also going to add in a stipulation that only one NPC may be historical, the rest are to be made up.

I was unaware that an Atypical RP would have such large reservations according to family. So I guess if someone takes Mitsuhide, it means that all the Hosokawa's are on reserve. Or if someone takes the Mori that all the way down to the grandchildren will also be taken. I fail to see why it is so important, but I'll change it. I guess I'll pick the one Hojo that was never called a Hojo in his life time...

You did this for the sake of conflict, didn't you? besides, all NPCs should be Fictional, unless there is a direct family or historic relation, in which case said character should remain an NPC till someone decides to play him or her, isn't that wht Beowulf said?

That just adds against characters that have no family. The Hojo and Mori clans are vast, so too is the Takeda Uesugi and Oda clans. What that means is simply a large reservation against obscure characters. While my character supposedly had 11 sons, only 3 are recorded in history, and they all went off to different families. That Kakizaki died after Suehiro. While in the Hojo clan there had been undoubtedly over 30 male children from Ujitsuna down to Ujinao, and countless daughters. Nearly all of them have names. Nearly all of them meant something. Mine does not... Not to mention a large other number

Drop it, scholar.
Sometimes commonsense prevails, and as far as i can see, it's commonsense that a member of the Hojo clan (wassup, Shogun) have a NPC with the name Hojo in it. while you, who aren't a member of the Hojo clan, should not.

Scholar I've got to agree with the others. Why don't you make one of the un-recorded sons therefore linking history and fiction!

Well I promise not to use any Hojo decedents from Ujistuna. [The one before Ujiyasa]

Name: Kotubawa Doshe
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Appearance: Kotubawa is bald, but wears a moustache and a slight goatee. He wears still the billowing white robes of the monks though he has all but renounced that path by following his friend Asato.
Weapon 1: Nodachi
Weapon 2: Bow
Personality: Kotubawa Doshe leads a simple life, keeping just a few worldly posessions - his clothes, bow, blade, and arrows are pretty much his only posessions except for a small clay Buddha. He seeks peace and tranquiliity, and found that while silent and peaceful meditation can bring about enlightenment, its highest levels can only be revealed when inner peace and calm are achieved in the swirling chaos of battle.

Looks good. If you want to add his name to your signature, that's fine, though there's no actual need to.
I hope to see him in action.
