The Imperial Court is now open. It will be divided into three main parts. The first part is Military Rank. The second is Imperial Rank. The Third is Territory Request.
"How to:" to be seen by the court you must create a topic requesting to see the court. The administrator or one of the staff will send a messenger to reply to your request. Depending on your fame the court may refuse to see you, if this happens you will have the option to bribe the messenger. While there is always a chance that bribe will fail to sway the envoy, the bribe that will allow access no matter what is 2000 gold.

Imperial Rank
-----------------------
Imperial Ranks must be requested from the courts. Even if admitted to the court you may have to pay an additional fee to gain rank. For example the rank of "Noble" may end up costing you 4000 gold if stopped at both entrances. If refused rank the most you will have to pay to gain rank is twice the original value. There are no requirements for rank except the gold required to purchase them, except the rank of regent.
1. Noble: 1000 gold donation, allows for a 200 gold gain in your castle revenue.
2. Lord: 2000 gold donation, allows for an addition 400 gold gain increase
3. Benefactor: 5000 gold donation, allows for an additional 800 gold gain increase and more favorable relations towards the courts. 20 fame increase.
4. Protector: 10,000 gold donation, allows for a 1600 gold gain increase and more favorable relations towards courts. 40 fame increase.
5. Position on the council of lords: 20,000, Can decide regent. Must have three councilors before regents can be decided upon. Fame increase 100. Gold gain increase 3200. Troop cost, 100 gold less on any type.
6. Regent: Must be elected out of the council of lords. Bribing to get the position is possible, but it could also backfire on you. You basically get elected to have a 150 fame increase and a +5 in all stat areas. Also allows for all NPC bordered territories towards your own to join you. You must at least be a Kanrei
------------------------
Province Request
------------------------
To request a province it must be under the control of an NPC, otherwise the province will not switch to your side. It must also border your territory. If the province is in battle with either your force or another force the province will not be allowed to change. You may be refused this request or a sum of gold will be specified by the courts for this province's purchase. It may be given at no cost however the fame of the Daimyo must be high and even then it is unlikely. You may only do this once. The only other time a province may change allegiance from an NPC to a Daimyo controlled land is when gaining the rank of regent.
