Age: 23
Gender: Male
Primary Weapon of Choice: Double Bladed Spear – Nadel’s weapon of choice is a large wooden shaft that stretches 5.5 feet in length. On both ends of the wooden beam are adjustable and attachable spear heads, each just beneath a foot long. The spear is designed with black paints that forge weird Germanic symbols (although most of these are un-recognisable due to fading), in the centre of the shaft is a designed mechanism, allowing for the spear to break apart into two smaller spears should the wielder wish it . He has also named the weapon ‘Requiem’ after its Germanic meaning.
Secondary Weapon of Choice: Musket – Nadel’s second weapon of choice is the musket, a simple weapon in design and form, usable only when the opportunity is perfect to do so. Nadel has a dead-eye with the weapon, but due to his more sadistic attitude he prefers to be up and personal when fighting off his enemies. The Musket wasn’t given a name; it is simple what it is.
Signature Hand: Right.
Character Type: Warrior/Tactician[/ul]
Unlike his face, which is both bizarre and attractive (in its own manly kind of way), his body is much more an art of perfection. His muscles ripple down his arms, not bulky yet toned and well developed. His hands are of medium size, tender if willing, yet sharp if necessary. His chest is no different – his pecks bulge whilst his stomach rests gingerly beneath, his legs strong yet agile. In all, Nadel is well developed.
He does however; bear the scars of a warrior. His left eye is scarred deeply and thus he uses an eye patch, small in design – yet black. He was nicknamed ‘Nadel of the black sea’ during his earlier campaigns and now his physique and appearances match his looks.
Nadel wears two outfits on most (if not all) occasions. The first outfit is a black trimmed robe, with an attachable hood of similar design and long dropping sleeves that he wraps around both of his hands. This robe is nothing special, yet on the back (and on the front but to the right and much smaller) is the insignia of his homelands, Germany. The robe is weaved with various fabrics, each with its own unique shading, giving it a gentle radiance as he walks around well lit furnaces or rooms. Besides its pattern, the robe is fitted with dark patches of leather, offering a very small amount of protection.
His second outfit is designed for battle, which he wears whenever he leaves the protection of an estate or castle. This outfit includes a thin layer of chain-mail over a simple shirt, with a well padded surcoat over the chain-mail. The armour is slowly wearing thin, but he mends it time to time with whatever materials he scrounges from wherever he is. The surcoat is black with a sewn insignia that portrays his love for his German trends. The armour was also modified with Japanese styled leather and plating to make it better, yet the arms (besides the arm guards/braces) remained in its original form, a simple cloth with chain mail to offer protection. This allowed him good flexibility and speed with his torso, which all spear-wielders needed.

Weight: 13 Stone.
Height: Six foot.
Build: Well Defined/Toned.[/ul]
Dislikes: Nadel dislikes cowards or those who are judgemental. He hates stereotypes, frauds and people who love to talk bullshit at taverns or pubs. He hates those who abuse their powers without a reason; he hates those filled with green or who are blinded by meaningless ambition. He also hates egotistical people.
Strengths: Nadel is agile, compensating both his speed and strength to get an equal balance, to perfect both styles. His accuracy is also perfected. In other ways he has strengths in talking and stratagem.
Weaknesses: He isn’t a good leader, nor would he ever be a good leader, It’d be a miracle if anyone ever wanted to swear allegiance to him for longer than a week. His morals make him the enemy of those who are powerful, rich and greedy. He has also no good wit or charming abilities to woe his foes. He is no diplomat. He has no charm with the ladies; he is truthful and doesn’t lie intentionally. His other weaknesses include planning (he is spontaneous in his decision making) and his inability to fist-fight or use weaponry he hasn’t specifically trained in.
Personality: Nadel is hard to understand. He is morally justified yet his tendencies get him in a lot of trouble which often makes others assume he’s evil or bad. He does suffer somewhat, as he is a sadist in how he enjoys certain parts of torturing and fighting/looting. But he also knows the morality of what to do and what not to do. He is simple, yet complex, if ever there was someone like that. Just..trust me, he’s interesting.
Background: Seighard Nadel was born twenty-three years ago, on a remote island just off the coast of Germany. As a child, he was often the project of some strange new mental development, often abused by his German ancestors and relatives. It was only when he was thirteen that he had actually been brought the knowledge of what death was, when during a fight with his father, his gun slipped and bolted, skimming his father’s foot. In retaliation he was cut down, tearing his left eye and causing him to lose most of his vision. With training and medical treatment (or lack off) he developed the scars that would later earn him the nick-name ‘Nadel of the black sea’.
During his teenage life, he perfected his skill in shooting and two handed weaponry, his weapon of choice, although bizarre for a modern day age, was that of the double handed spear. When he grew up, or rather when he was eighteen – he was employed by the German army as a trainer in combat and a musketeer, his later skills had him training those in England, where he met Sir Geoffrey Bodkins - A trained diplomat and language expert.
After training the regiment, he was ordered (as agreed during a civil time between two nations) to go to the great seas and see the life of England during its superior reign. With the industries flourishing, Nadel worked both as a labourer and a warrior on his campaigns, sending whatever money he collected back to his family in Germany.
However, his peaceful lifestyle soon changed when Sir Geoffrey asked that he join him on a quest to the islands of Japan, deep in Asian waters. Upon the agreement, Nadel was dismissed from his German rank and the English appointed him as a expendable mercenary to help quell the troubles in Japan.
When he landed in Japan, it would seem that fate would have him stay at no other location – and now, a man who was once a master of his countries pride and honour, stays as a ronin in a foreign, yet exotic land.[/ul]
