Upon once again reentering the Inn, Tadakatsu noticed two men standing atop the balcony.
Hmph, they better stay there... Next person to disrupt me is going to be plenty sorry for it. He thought to himself.
Grunting as he entered the Inn he quickly made way to the bar. Purchasing a jug of wine he then took a new seat closer to the bar itself, still in the corner away from all the hustle and bustle.

Hideaki had been on the move for a good part of the day when he spied the Cherry Blossom Inn on the road. It seemed as good a place to stop as any, and given that he didn't know when the opportunity would next arise, Hideaki decided that it would be a good enough place to stop. At least rested, he wouldn't have worry about being stranded on the open road come nightfall. Travelling alone was quite enough risk to be going on with.
Kobayakawa dismounted his mare and led her along the dirt path to the inn, stopping to tether her once he was close enough. Hideaki stopped for a few moments before entering, checking that he was at least presentable. He wasn't dressed for battle, only in riding clothes. Nonetheless, his Kamayari was in place across his back, and his wheellock at his side. Hideaki wasn't expecting trouble, but it paid to be prepared.
The samurai stepped inside of the building and glanced around it. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, although he did espy a couple of armed men sitting down. Hideaki made a mental note to watch his step. He didn't exactly fancy getting into a brawl, especially one where weapons were involved. Hideaki wasn't afraid of fighting, he just knew that any kind of confrontation in this environment would be senseless.
Hideaki approached the bar and offered the man behind it a polite smile.
"Greetings master samurai," the tender said with no more than essential courtesy. He looked Hideaki up and down, an appraising look. "You must be far from your lands, for I do not recognise your clan," Kobayakawa flushed - he served no-one, and the barman had figured this out at a glance.
"I... that is-"
"I see. You bring dishonour on your name, but if your coin is good, then I shall serve you nonetheless,"
Embarrassed and rather angry, Hideaki wheeled from the bar and set himself down at an unoccupied table. He had no master through no fault of his own, who was the inn's proprieter to judge Hideaki at a glance?
One day... one day a daimyo will see my true worth, and I will show Japan exactly what I bring to my family name.

Tsunayoshi spied the man glancing at them from below and instantly registered his face. It was a large man, well armed, and brooding. Certainly not a figure Tsunayoshi would want to face on the battlefield under the best of circumstances. It registered in Tsunayoshi's head that it might be the contact that Ujiyasu was waiting for. Tsunayoshi waved Ujiyasu over and pointed to the one below.
"Your contact?"
"I'm not sure. I've never met this man personally; we have only communicated by pen. Nevertheless, if he is our contact, he will come."
"Fine then. However, I'll take my leave now, and scout out the area below."
Tsunayoshi went to the corner and picked up his nagamaki. Then, Tsunayoshi bowed to his brother, walked past the guards, and slid open the door. He made sure to secure it tightly as he walked down the stairs and into the main bar. He ordered a simple green tea and waited. It wasn't usual for him to be served tea in such a non-formal manner, but he was grateful for it. All that fuss for a drink.
The barkeep brought it along after a while with a small plate, on top of which lay a small piece of sugar in the shape of a magatama. Tsunayoshi downed his tea and gulped the sugar to ease the bitterness. Then, he found a table near the stairs and waited. Then, he saw that hulking man again. If he was Ujiyasu's contact, it wouldn't hurt to do a preliminary check on him. Ujiyasu pointed to the man and called out.
"You there. What's your name?"

Suehiro tired and confused enters the Inn. He had won 500 gold off of the butterfly man. But he may have lost the much larger wager of Tadakatsu. He needed a drink and something more substantial. Moving his tired limbs left and right he manages to get a seat by a table where there is a man sitting and another looking at him from a distance. He thought it rather disturbing but his aching joints were too strained for him to care. "Sake please" after a moments deliberation he said to the barkeep "Do you have any ice? or cold water?" a stark no made him deal with the sake. After having a small bottle placed in front of him with a cup he poured a small amount into the dish of a cup and drank it slowly. It had not been heated up and was cool on his throat.
Wandering men roam across the land Master less and alone they seek service Talent has a home, but the men do not Stumbling feet will bring them to your door
pouring another sip of sake in the dish he swallowed it whole again. He could feel his throat being soothed, and his weariness wearing away. But this lowered his resistance to slight temptation so he started to pay a little attention to the man next to him.
"Stumbling feet Weary eyes rugged looks a sign of a warrior
Disciplined hair piercing eyes smooth cheeks a sign of a leader"

Tadakatsu see's one of the men battling for his service enter the Inn, he was the clear better in the duel, at least he could defend himself in battle, even if it was poorly. Also seemed to offer much more. Tadakatsu Spoke up.
Hey. Have a seat and tell me more about Sado if you still think you have something to offer

"You. You must be either deaf or arrogant to ignore someone."
Tsunayoshi stepped up from the table and walked up to the large man, cutting off his vision to the other man. He didn't come on as aggressive, but he was asserting his presence and demanded attention. Tsunayoshi didn't want to cause trouble for the barkeep, so he wanted to keep it as low-key as possible. Tsunayoshi gestured outside, gave a low bow to both, and spoke again.
"Or perhaps you wished for me to introduce myself first? I am Tsunayoshi, from the house of Hojo, second-eldest of the deceased Hojo Ujitsuna, brother of the current lord Hojo Ujiyasu. A pleasure to meet you two."

Suehiro looked at the man, whom had just yesterday gave him his loyalty only to be pushed away by the duel. He sat next to Honda.
"I'm sorry about before Mr. Honda, I'll tell you whatever you want to know. Like how the sun rises and sets over the ocean, and when the waves crash on the shores the water changes color as it passes into the air. I do wish that you would still wish for you to join me"

Tadakatsu felt like he had found his Lord, though still a stranger and virtually untested by Tadakatsu's standards. Still rather new to his position of Daiymo from what he could tell, Tadakatsu now was facing his dream to help create a kingdom.
Tell me... What do you offer? Money, Power, Land, Military status? I do not work for free.

Suehiro thought what he could offer the soldier. "I could give you power, money, and the highest rank in my army. You can have an autonomous command and become governor of the lands that you conquer. Are these not worthy of being your pay?"

"Twice. Twice now, I've spoken. Twice, you have ignored me. I have introduced myself and lowered myself, but yet you ignore me." Tsunayoshi turned to the other. "And you follow with him. This is an insult to my pride, and shows poorly on you as men. You! Are you not a lord of some house? Show some courtesy and introduce yourself properly to one who has introduced himself. I may be lower in status, or I may not be, but it seems that you have not yet learned proper etiquette. Tell me, do you come from the north? And of him, does he come from there also? It would not surprise me."
Tsunayoshi no longer made any pretense of making things quiet. His honor had been slapped and trampled on, these two insisted on making him look like quite the fool, and Tsunayoshi felt himself rise to anger. He cooled himself quickly. However, if Ujiyasu did request to see him, Tsunayoshi would have to disagree, now.
"Respect your betters."

What a fool! Offering a complete unknown control over his armies. He easily I could usurp him... What a trusting and noble fool. I must protect him from the world... For he is kind and naive. Tadakatsu thought to himself.
I will take you up on that offer sir. However, you award too much, and I'm not one for ruling the many provinces I will capture for you. Now come, let us sit, drink and plan our first moves in this world! He spoke kind heartedly to his new Daimyo.
Turning his attention to the stranger who interrupted his conversation.
Maybe you need to speak up sir. You may think me short on manners but I assure you that you are mistaken. I thank you for your introduction and the respect shown but I suggest you calm yourself and apologize to my Lord. To speak to a Lord of his status you must first get permission from his subordinates do you understand? You go through me Sir!.
Standing up in defense of his Master Tadakatsu again spoke.
Now... Lets have that apology before I get another notch on my Tanbogiri.

Looking at the noble he raise a brow. "What do you wish me to say Noble? Though i think that is a contradiction. You are anything but Noble. And steady yourself man. Unless you want to fight with me?"
Taking a sip of sake

Tadakatsu turned to his Lord.
Never again will you raise your sword with me in your service. My body is your shield.

"Oh? Am I not merely suggesting you shape up? Then, you both wish to engage me in combat." Tsunayoshi pulled the nagamaki out of its spot on his waist, sheath and all, and thrust it forward. "Like the large one says, I will fight your subordinate, first. We go outside, to the streets."
