*Hasshi listened to Suehiro's prediction intently; although he never really believed in the Zodiac, he never had someone tell him a personal description either. It seemed to fit him well, but then again, wasn't the whole point of these predictions to be too general in order to fit everybody? he mused over the value of these predictions over and over during Suehiro's reading*
*When Suehiro was finished, Hashsi thought over what he had said for a little while longer, before deciding to respond*
'Yes, quite, though i wonder if one's birthdate truly means that he is blessed by Heaven, after all we have had many great men who have been born on different days be they Monkeys, Dragons, Rats, Goats, etc. yet indeed share some of these qualities attributed to Dragons. I wonder what is the true value of the Zodiac in determining what endeavours our daily lives?'

Suehiro thought for a long moment, he was thinking of the proper way to respond. "If the heavens chose the time you will be born, the day you will be born, and the year you will be born then the heavens chose who you are. But do I think that these predictions are not to be taken seriously. While it's a fascinating subject it lacks some of the details necessary. The I Ching is a book that describes fortune in such a vague way that any question can be answered, albeit in cryptic ways. But the tiers are what define a person. While The first tier are capable of great good or great evil, such as the Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. The Fourth Tier is rather complacent and stagnant. And it is also important to note that for an accurate description all three times must be recorded.'' People like the ox have a few very close friends, while people like the monkey, Rat, and Dragon have a long list of acquaintances but no real friends to speak of.''
Suehiro drank his tea and pondered what to say next, he had sounded as if he adamantly believed in such dribble when he only thought it was interesting...
"Well, it is the combination that makes the person, not anything one of the three. While having the year is the most important it is only because it incorporates the year and the element. This is why when a group of children born in the same year will not act, or think alike. It only gives a rough outline a Dragon mixed with a pig and an ox will be a complaisant easy going person, but there is a possibility for the dragon to over-ride the two as well. So there is no one Pure creature, and rarely is one even all Yin or all Yang. Most cases it is a mixture of the two between the elements and the animals. Not to mention the element at which they excel at and the element in which they don't.
I guess it's all up to interpretation"

Imagawa Yoshimoto entered the tea room. He often frequented places such as this, as he liked to surround himself with men of culture and intellect. Yoshimoto was of the Imagawa, a respectable clan. And although Yoshimoto may not look it, he was a very versatile military tactician and skillful warrior.
He settled himself in, flanked by four man-servants, one carrying a cushion for Yoshimoto to sit upon. A serving girl came and gave Yoshimoto his tea, at which he nodded his thanks. A manservant pulled out a folding fan, and fanned Yoshimoto as he sipped his tea delicately.
